What is an Election Judge?
An election judge helps enforce election law by guaranteeing that the rights of legal voters are protected on Election Day. They are responsible for the administration of election procedures in voting locations.
Why be an Election Judge?
Our Party has the responsibility to provide the names of people willing to serve as Election Judges. This is an important position because there is a shortage of Republican Election Judges. We need Republican Election Judges [you] to ensure the integrity of our election system.
Are Election Judges Paid?
Yes. Amount of pay is set by the city or township. Election Judges by be eligible for additional compensation from their employer.
What is required of an Election Judge?
Election Judges may work all day (6:00 AM to 10:00PM+) or party of the day at the discretion of the city or township. Election Judges must be re-trained and re-certified every two years.
